Three men were arrested in Wayne County Saturday after leading police in a high-speed pursuit.

According to a release from the West Virginia State Police, troopers attempted to stop a green Ford Fusion that appeared to be driving recklessly at high speeds in the Fort Gay area.

The suspect vehicle did not stop and a pursuit began, which continued several miles before the vehicle became disabled on an ATV trail in the Radnor Ridge area. Three suspects, identified as Joseph (28), Michael (33) and David Bartram, exited the vehicle and were all quickly apprehended.

Joseph Bartram was charged with Fleeing with Reckless Indifference and Fleeing on Foot, in addition to outstanding warrants for Fleeing, Drugs, Prohibited Person with Firearm and Probation Violations. David Bartram was charged with Fleeing on Foot. Michael Bartram had an outstanding Capias for Driving While Revoked for DUI, No Insurance and Improper Registration.

All three men are being held in the Western Regional Jail pending arraignment. Michael is being held on a $8,000 surety/cash bail.
