Gov. Beshear has appointed Mark Blackburn to the vacancy of the Office of Magistrate for the Fifth District of Martin County.
- Mark Blackburn of Beauty is a retired school administrator. He replaces the Honorable Victor Slone, who has resigned. Dr. Blackburn shall serve the remainder of the unexpired term.
Slone has been appointed to serve out the unexpired term of judge/executive Bill Bo Davis who abruptly resigned two weeks ago.
