Billie J. Jobe, 84, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at his home with his family by his side.

Billie was born December 26, 1941 in Midland, PA to the late Sylvester “Jr.” and Elva Jobe. Billie was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Billie was known to love bluegrass gospel music. He attended many festivals, camping in his RVs. Billie took many memorable fishing trips with his family and friends. Crappie was his favorite fish to catch. Billie loved woodworking. He made pieces for his family to enjoy. Billie loved to watch UK Basketball. Billie loved to travel. He saw many of God’s beautiful creations from Alaska to Hawaii.
Billie would want his testimony to be to Love the Lord and make memories with family and friends. Loved ones fortunate to hear him tell tales of his many great adventures in life rest in comfort knowing he has embarked on his greatest adventure yet.
Billie graduated from Louisa High School Class of 1960. He completed vocational training at Mayo Vocational School. Billie received certifications in HVAC, TV Repair, and electrical. Billie was a veteran, having proudly served his country in the US Army from 1964 to 1967, stationed in Germany. Billie began what would be his lifetime career as an instrumental electrician at Kentucky Power. He worked at Ashland Oil, H-Coal, and finished his career at South Point Ethanol. Billie was a member of Westwood Free Will Baptist Church, American Legion Post 89, El-Hasa Shrine, El-Hasa Clowns, and was a 50-year member and Past Master of Williard Lodge No. 626 F. & A.M.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred Jobe, and his loving family Louise Abrams Jobe, Patsy Taylor Jobe, Janet Jobe, Jane Abrams Gross, and JoAnn Maynard.
Surviving are his children Tammy (John) Marcum and Chris (Teresa) Jobe; mother of his children and lifelong friend Linda Kelly Jobe; grandchildren Cameron Marcum, Ryan Marcum, Brady Jobe, and Hannah Jobe; brothers Bob (Claris Stevens) Jobe and Paul (Sandy); sister Joy (Melvin) Trowbridge; sister in law Deborah Parsons Jobe; nieces and nephews Rick (Kelly) Trowbridge, Melanie (Kevin) Vanderhoof, James Jobe, Mollie (Brandon) Grigsby, and Rachel Jobe; cousin Kenny Jobe; loving family Randy (Regina) Taylor, Tommy Dwayne (Ellen) Taylor, Junior Maynard, Jerry Cecil Maynard, James Maynard, Crista Holbrook, Sarah Taylor, Travis Taylor, and Austin Taylor; and special friends Ken and Linda Osborne and Jim and Sandy Little.
The family would like to thank the medical staff of Three Rivers Medical Center, Kings Daughters Medical Center and Community Hospice for the care they have given Billie. Funeral services with full military honors will be conducted Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel, with Masonic Funeral Services conducted at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the place in the form of donations to Gideons International or to Casting for Kids.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Jobe and his family.
