Barbara A. Slone, 80, of Ceredo, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Barbara was born July 18, 1944 in Prichard, WV to the late Mont and Zella (Thacker) Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Slone, Sr.; children Bobby Lee Slone and Jack Slone, Jr.; and siblings Mac, Kenneth, Glenna, Blanche, Freida, Mary and Jean.

Barbara was a member of Smith Chapel Church in Prichard, WV and a member of the American Legion Post 93 Women’s Auxiliary.

Survivors include her grandchildren Paige Slone (Shane Case) and Karri Justice (John); great grandchildren Abel, Zach, Alex, Mason, Easton and Evelynn; brother Ralph; and best friend Joyce Hay-Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Slone and her family.
