For a fourth consecutive year, Kentucky’s leading substance use disorder (SUD) treatment provider Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) has been included in Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers.

This significant recognition comes during National Recovery Month and amid encouraging news that Kentucky experienced a 9.8% decrease in overdose deaths in the Commonwealth’s latest annual Drug Overdose Fatality Report — triple the national average.

The America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2024 list highlights the nation’s top treatment facilities based on quality of service, reputation, and accreditation relative to in-state competition. Facilities in the 25 states with the highest number of addiction treatment centers, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), were included in the survey. The evaluation process was based on three data sources:

  • Nationwide Online Survey: Over 4,000 medical professionals and managers/administrators working in addiction treatment centers were invited to recommend leading facilities in their respective states.
  • Accreditation Data: Data provided by SAMHSA on addiction treatment centers was considered.
  • Google Reviews: Reviews from Google were included as a measure of patient experience.

“We are honored to once again receive this powerful national recognition for the high-quality care we deliver for our clients,” said Matt Brown, ARC Chief Administration Officer and President of ARC Healthcare. “ARC’s top-notch team of addiction treatment professionals is committed to saving and transforming lives — giving our clients the very best chance to achieve long-term recovery from SUD.”

Headquartered in Louisa, ARC operates a network of licensed addiction treatment centers in 25 Kentucky counties.

ARC’s comprehensive approach to addiction treatment includes a full continuum of care, including detox, residential, transitional, intensive outpatient, outpatient, medically assisted treatment (MAT), vocational rehabilitation, and job training.

Focused on treating the whole person, the ARC program emphasizes five pillars of care for long-term success — Recovery, Opportunity, Physical Health, Emotional Health and Spiritual Life (R.O.P.E.S.).

More details about ARC’s full array of evidence-based addiction treatment services is available at ARCcenters.com.
