Congratulations to Mrs. Angel Derifield, who was selected as the new assistant principal at Louisa East Elementary School! Mrs. Derifield has been a teacher at the East for the last 13 years. Please help us welcome her to her new role!

“It is an honor to be serving the students, families, and staff at Louisa East Elementary as the Assistant Principal, Ms. Derifield said. “This will begin my 14th year as an educator, and I am proud to say they have all been right here in Lawrence County, at Louisa East.
“I look forward to watching our students shine every day, both inside and outside the classroom, as well as continuing to work with our outstanding teachers and staff. Once a BULLDOG…always a BULLDOG!”
