Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) will celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary with members (past and present), government representatives from all levels, community leaders, healthcare professionals, friends, and family. This celebration symbolizes perseverance and relentless effort as we boldly proclaim that our best days are ahead of us, not behind us. ARC’s crisis to career approach to treatment has turned success rates on their heads. Some of the best treatment centers in the nation boast a 20% success rate. ARC has found that when an individual stays one year in their centers, participates in one of their vocational training programs, and leaves employed, they have an 85% success rate after one-year post-treatment. These results show that the solution to the nation’s workforce crisis lies dormant in the lives of people who struggle with addiction. Lives are healed. Families are restored. Communities are revived.
ARC currently has 30 programs spanning across all phases of treatment. These programs are located in 12 different Kentucky counties. ARC now offers several vocational programs: Certified Peer Support Specialists, general maintenance, automotive, intake specialist, heavy equipment operation, and a management training. ARC believes in their crisis to career model so much that they have built their company around the idea. They currently have 500 employees, 250 of their employees are in recovery, and of those 250 in recovery 160 have been through one of their facilities. ARC is Appalachia’s largest second chance employer and returns millions of dollars into the counties that they serve.
Please join us on November 14th, 2018 at Christ Temple Church, 2400 Johnstown Road, in Huntington, WV, 25701, at 1:00 PM. We will be celebrating the 10-year journey and graduating the most recent cohort of Peer Support Specialists. Today, as the leading provider of all levels of care in Kentucky and as a contracted provider for all of the state’s managed care organizations, ARC will continue to expand its needed services through the state and eventually the nation.
