Adam Chaffins, a Louisa native was recently named one of NPR-Best New Artists Playing AmericanaFest. After almost 10 years in Nashville, Chaffins comes home to headline the Louisa, KY festival SeptemberFest on Friday, September 6th at 9PM.
Chaffin is no stranger to the Americana, bluegrass, indie-rock or alt-country scenes with previously stints with The Deadly Gentleman, Town Mountain plus many others. In 2018 he started releasing singles from his debut solo album and has quickly become a favorite among several critics while building momentum with fans.
Wished it was Tyler Childers instead.
I’m sorry Citizen but that is absolutely the rudest thing to say about an extremely talented boy and Tyler Childers would say the same thing to you…. just probably not as nicely as I just did. Adam is an excellent artist and represents this region and county well.
Looking forward to hearing you Adam!!
I’m sorry Cathi Kise Wells the comment was not intended to be rude or disrespectful in any way. So I apologize if I offended you or anyone else in that matter. Personally I’ve never heard his music, but I am looking forward to hearing him. I would have like to have seen Tyler come and perform, maybe next year.
But in honesty I wasn’t trying to be rude. I apologize 🙂
I’m sure Louisa would love to have Tyler Childers but that won’t happen for a while. They don’t have the amount of security needed to have someone like him.
I know he’s like a celebrity. Too popular for the Septemberfest. That’s one talented guy, writes a song about everything!
