Dorothy Lou Hogston, 73, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 19, 2025.

Dorothy was born on July 25, 1951 in Martin, KY to the late Oral and Priscilla (Slone) Campbell. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband James “Earl” Hogston; children John Dewey Hogston and Priscilla Hogston; grandchildren Allison Hogston and Frank Fitzpatrick; and brother James William McKinney.

Surviving are her son Jeffrey Hogston, and his wife, Rebecca; daughter Vanessa Fitzpatrick; grandchildren Evan Hogston, Emma Hogston, Victoria Doss, Charles Marcum, Chase Marcum, Crystal Fitzpatrick, and Todd Fitzpatrick; great grandchildren Lillian Doss, Willow Doss, Charles Liam Marcum, and Rosie Marcum; and siblings Don Campbell, Denise Medina, Michael McKinney, Charlene Edward, Eddie Ray McKinney, Edna Fletcher, and Tommy McKinney.

A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. All those whose lives were touched by Dorothy are welcome to attend, to share in the memory of a woman who gave so much. We encourage everyone to share your fondest memories and upload photos of Dorothy on her memorial page. Let us remember her as she was – full of life, love, and joy.
