By Susan Salyer
At the Louisa Rotary Meeting today Supt. Robbie Fletcher announced details about the Senior Class of 2022.
Graduation will be tomorrow May 20, 2022 inside the gymnasium at LCHS. The doors will be open at 6PM and starts at 7PM. (sorry about the mistake but we have not received any information about graduation from the school or BOE, just what Fletcher said at the Rotary meeting)
Fletcher said there are between 156 to 163 depending on make up work.
Louisa’a own Gerad Parker will be the Guest Speaker tomorrow evening at Graduation.
Parker has been named tight ends coach at Notre Dame this season. His career also includes being a coach for WVU, Former Assistant Football Coach at Purdue University, Former Assistant Football Coach at Marshall University, Former Assistant Football Coach at The University of Tennessee at Martin, Former Graduate Assistant Football Coach at University of Kentucky and Former Teacher/Coach at Raceland Worthington School District.
Parker is a former football star for LCHS and UK.

Each graduating senior will receive 3 tickets. If you have a ticket you can sit on the bottom bleachers. If you don’t, don’t worry you can sit in the top bleachers inside the gymnasium. The reason it’s not at the football field is because tomorrow will reach 93 degrees, Fletcher told The Louisa Rotary Club today.
On Wednesday May 18, 2022 The Senior Class of 2022 started something new this year.
This senior class event is called the “Parade of Seniors”.
Seniors traveled on 3 buses to all the local schools. Fallsburg School, Blaine School, Louisa Upper, Louisa Lower and Louisa Middle School to greet the undergraduates. Seniors walked through the hallways getting high 5’s and well wishes for graduating.
Today the Senior Class of 2022 went to the gymnasium while practicing for graduation. The faculty and staff members thanked the Seniors for all their hard work over the past 4 years of high school with a chance to win some prizes.
Douglas Hall won a ROKU TV, Nakota Mollette won a Nintendo Switch, Rayson Adkins won a XBOX and Hannah Maxie won a HP Laptop. There were other prizes given out, such as shirts, mini fridges, microwaves, pool noodles and rugs.
Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2022 at LCHS graduation is here!!!!
