COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We got off to a great start against Calvary Baptist on Friday morning and got to play a lot of people good minutes. West Virginia St. University has a beautiful facility and the FCA does great work throughout the state. We moved the ball well and got pressure defensively that led to easy baskets in transition. We were happy to be a part of such a great event.”
“… Another great event at the War Memorial Gym. They have done and continue to do great renovations with the facility. It was built with a special purpose, the War Memorial is a neat place for kids to play. The community center board and the Evaroni’s pizza sponsorship is a great sponsorship for the event. Coach Ball at Chesapeake does a great job with his program and they are always prepared. We were fortunate to get a good win against a good opponent. We continue to work to improve in the area of rebounding and our defense. We are getting better but we have a long way to go. We moved the ball well and everyone contributed in a positive way.”
