LAWRENCE COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTS 23 IN JUNE SESSION

Lawrence County Grand Jury returns indictments including wanton endangerment on law enforcement. Kalo Price is being charged with wanton endangerment in the first degree to deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department along with tampering with physical evidence and several drug charges.

 

Commonwealth vs. Jimia Wondolowski

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before April 22, 2021 in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

2. Committed the violation of failure to wear seat belts by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Ky roadway without proper safety belts in use.

3. Committed the violation of  no registration plates by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Ky roadway without proper registration plates.

 

Commonwealth vs. William Lawson Jr. 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 20, 2020 in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. William Lawson Jr. acting alone or in complicity with Amanda Burchette committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of  a controlled substance with the intent to traffick in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled, namely 3.89 grams of Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Amanda Burchette

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 20, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Amanda Burchette acting alone or in complicity with William Lawson Jr. nse of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of  a controlled substance with the intent to traffick in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled, namely 3.89 grams of Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Cody Castle 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before December 28, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Cody Castle committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Jay Church 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before January 27, 2021  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. The offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Fentanyl.

 

Commonwealth vs. Nicklas Perry

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before February 9, 2021 in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Nicklas Perry committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Carrie Wages 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before December 5, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to traffick in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely approximately .20 grams of Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Joseph R. Horn

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or beforeAugust 6, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 4.92 grams of a controlled substance, and digital scales with the intent to traffick in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine.

2. Committed the offense of possession/use of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a syringe, and altered straw.

 

Commonwealth vs. Wallace Kazee

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 15, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine, scales containing residu with intent to traffic in that controlled substance or  by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine.

2. Committed the offense of tampering with physical evidence by knowingly and unlawfully destroying, removing, alering or concealing physical evidence that he believed would be used against him in an official proceeding.

3. Committed the offense of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a syringe.

4. Committed the offense of carrying a concealed deadly weapon by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of two brass knuckles concealed near his person.

5. Committed the offense of public intoxication by knowingly and unlawfully being manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance in a public setting.

 

Commonwealth vs. Melissa D. Wolford

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 30, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

2. Committed the offense of use/possession of drug paraphernalia in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of glass pipe with chemical residue.

 

Commonwealth vs. Larry Maynard

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 12, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Larry Maynard acting alone or in complicity with Clarence Harless and Sarah Debord committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

2. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Clarence Harless and Sarah Debord committed the offense of use/possession of drug paraphernalia in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a syringe.

3. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Calarence Harless and Sarah Debord committed the offense of criminal trespass in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained upon Bird Hayes Manor property.

 

Commonwealth vs. Clarence Harless

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 12, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Clarence Harless acting alone or in complicity with Larry Maynard and Sarah Debord committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

2. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Larry Maynard and Sarah Debord committed the offense of use/possession of drug paraphernalia in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a syringe.

3. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Larry Maynard  and Sarah Debord committed the offense of criminal trespass in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained upon Bird Hayes Manor property.

 

Commonwealth vs. Sarah Debord 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 12, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Sarah Debord acting alone or in complicity with Clarence Harless and Larry Maynard  committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

2. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Clarence Harless and Larry Maynard  committed the offense of use/possession of drug paraphernalia in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a syringe.

3. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Clarence Harless and Larry Maynard  committed the offense of criminal trespass in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained upon Bird Hayes Manor property.

 

Commonwealth vs. Rickey Conley

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 23, 2021   in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of burglary in the third degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in Walmart of Louisa with the intent therein to commit a theft after having been previously barred from the store.

2. The above named defendant acting alone or in complicity with Ale. R. Keith committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $500.00 by knowingly and unlawfully taking numerous items from Walmart of Louisa.

3. Committed the offense of fleeing or evading the police in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully disregarding the orders, signs, and signals of Sgt. Steve Wilburn with the Louisa Police Department and Deputy Chase Kirk with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department to stop who both were operating in their official capacity.

4. Committed the violation of speeding twenty-three miles over the limit by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle at a speed of 78 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour speed zone.

5. Committed the violation of  disregarding a stop sign by knowingly and unlawfully operating a vehicle upon a Ky roadway and disregarding a sign to stop for other drivers.

6. Committed the violation of disregarding traffic control device by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Ky roadway and disregarding a traffic control device.

7. Committed the violation of failure to produce insurance card by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle upon a Ky roadway without being able to produce as required insurance card.

 

Commonwealth vs. Ale. R. Keith

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 23, 2021   in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Ale R. Keith acting alone or in complicity with Rickey Conley committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $500.00 by knowingly and unlawfully taking numerous items from Walmart of Louisa.

 

Commonwealth vs. Joshua Fetherolf 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before May 12, 2021  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of receiving stolen property under $10000.00 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle, stolen from Austin Mankin of Vermilion, Oh with a value of $8100.00

 

Commonwealth vs. Lowell Justin Maynard 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before May 7, 2021  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, second offense by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine while having a previous conviction.

Commonwealth vs. Christopher Carter 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before October 10, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to traffic in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely approximately .20 grams of Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Robbie J. Blevins 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 14, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

2. Committed the offense of use/possession of drug paraphernalia in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a glass pipe.

3. Committed the offense of failure to surrender revoked operators license by knowingly and unlawfully failing to surrender operator’s license as court ordered upon suspension date.

 

Commonwealth vs. Tyler Workman

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before February 25, 2021  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $500.00 by knowingly and unlawfully taking a 2000 Cadillac Deville owned by Loyal Fitzpatrick of Kouisa with a value of approximately $1000.00.

2. Committed the offense of fleeing/evading in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully disregarding signals and commands to the top given by Deputy Chase Kirk with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department with the intent to flee, avoid or elude his arrest.

3. Committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, first offense within ten years by operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substances that impair a driver’s ability to operate that motor vehicle.

4. Committed the offense of criminal mischief in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully damaging property owned by Tom McGee in the amount of $650.00.

 

Commonwealth vs. Clarence Childers

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before December 15, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to traffic in that controlled substance or by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely .3 grams of Methamphetamine and $50.00 in cash.

2. That the defendant, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count(s) is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

 

Commonwealth vs. Jeremy R. Burris  

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before October 7, 2020  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 4.92 grams of a controlled substance, and digital scales with the intent to traffic in that controlled substance or  by trafficking in a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine.

 

Commonwealth vs. Kalo Price 

 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before April 18, 2021  in Lawrence County the above named defendant:

 

1. Committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger or death or serious physical injury to deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.

2. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment with the above felony count(s) is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

3. Committed the offense of tampering with physical evidence by knowingly and unlawfully destroying, removing, alering, or concealing physical evidence that he believed would be used against him in an official proceeding.

4. Committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Heroin.

5. Committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

6. Committed the offense of possession of Marijuana by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Marijuana.
