COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Fishing was tough for us, only had one bite in practice and we went back to that spot where we had the one fish. And caught the 3 keepers from there. We were using crankbaits. Caught our 3 keepers before 8:00. We caught 9 for the day. Fish had to be 12 inches long to be weighed. If you could catch 5 fish you weighed your biggest 5 weigh in. They take total weight.
“… We had 3 fish for 5 pounds and 9 ounces. Had a big fish for 3 pounds 7 ounces that Josh Methax caught.”
“… Also right before the tournament was over we caught a big Muskie which the boys really enjoyed getting in the boat. It looked to be around 35 inches or so.”
“… We didn’t get to do many tournaments with the high school group this year do to Covid restrictions we are hoping next year for things to be back to normal.”
“… I have fished and had success in a couple tournaments even won a boat. But Yesterday was the best day I have ever had, enjoyed fishing in a tournament. It was a day that I or the boys will ever forget.”
