Tour Across Kentucky

 

Lexington, KY – Thy Will Be Done, Angela Rice’s celebrated Easter Oratorio,

begins its highly anticipated six-city tour on March 29, 2025, bringing a powerful

retelling of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to audiences

across Kentucky.

Tour Dates and Locations:

• March 29 • 7PM Symphony Hall – Paducah, KY

• March 30 • 2PM SKYPAC – Bowling Green, KY

• March 31 • 7PM River Park Center – Owensburg, KY

• April 3 • 7PM Calvary Baptist Church – Lexington, KY

• April 4 • 7PM St. Patrick Church – Maysville, KY

• April 6 • 3PM MAC – Prestonsburg, KY

This awe-inspiring oratorio brings together distinguished orchestras and choirs,

with conductors Raffaele Ponti and Marcello Cormio masterfully leading

performances across the tour. The Paducah Symphony Orchestra lends its

renowned artistry to the production, while distinguished choral organizations,

including the Paducah Singers and the Lexington Singers, form a powerful and

inspiring chorus.

A Tour Featuring Renowned Artists This Thy Will Be Done cast includes

Grammy winners, Metropolitan Opera singers, Richard Tucker Award Winners,

and globally celebrated performers. Highlights include artists who have graced

stages such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and the world’s

leading opera houses. These outstanding musicians, along with the orchestras and

choirs, will bring Angela Rice’s stirring composition to life in an unforgettable

way.A Composition Rooted in Faith and Artistry Angela Rice’s Thy Will Be Done

debuted in 2012 and has since evolved into a 36-piece orchestral masterpiece. A

Kentucky native, Rice is among the distinguished women making significant

contributions to classical music. This work, deeply inspired by her faith, explores

themes of humility, compassion, and the transformative power of love.

“Thy Will Be Done reflects the profound emotions and miracles of faith,” says

Rice. “Sharing this oratorio with audiences across Kentucky is a blessing, and I

hope it inspires all who hear it.”

Tour Details and Ticket Information Performances at church venues are free,

with donation options, while other venues offer tiered ticket pricing of $25 and

$35.
