The weather was wonderful, masks were worn, songs were sang and prayers were spoken as Christians came together in one mind and one accord to pray for our hometown during todays Prayer Walk, hosted by Lighthouse FWB Church.
Church members were escorted by the Louisa Police Department, showing their support for todays event! Even in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, we as Christians have a hope that brighter day is coming.
Several churches were represented today and all in all it was a great day! It was wonderful and we are looking forward to many more of these “Prayer Walks!”
Masks were worn? Seriously?
I agree. Where is the masks?
I don’t see any masks!
Did the photographer forget to show the people with masks? Looking at the photos I can’t see a single one…. my Christian belief tells me that I need to care for my neighbors.. and in the time of Covid, that means wearing a mask. It isn’t that hard…
COVID-19
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 26, 2020) – Gov. Andy Beshear on Saturday updated Kentuckians on the state’s continuing efforts to fight the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).
“Folks, right now we are on pace to have the single highest week in terms of positive cases that we’ve ever had,” said Gov. Beshear. “We simply have to do better. Please wear a mask. Sadly, sometimes I’m seeing less of these out there than more. This will save lives.”
Don’t need masks when all you have to do is pray Covid away. Oh wait it’s still here. Nevermind.
It’s like taking up serpents. If you believe strongly enough, you won’t be bitten. I’m gonna wear my mask cause I’m afraid snakes.
