Lawrence County School Board Meeting 7/20/2020
Dr. Rob Fletcher released details from the board meeting last night which primarily includes safety guidelines and instructional options for students during the upcoming school year.
“…Lawrence County will be offering 3 options to meet the needs of all learners.
Option 1 is All In @ School, which is the 5 day a week option for attending school. This will be in person classes with all the protocols such as social distancing, sanitization, health and safety screens, and mask protocols.
Option 2 is All in @ Home (one semester minimum), which is the option to do at home learning for the first semester of school. This will be done at home with teacher-led instruction, google classroom, daily online, designated scheduled and aligned with Option 1.
And at last Option 3 is All in @LC Virtual which is online with individualized programs, monitored by staff and there will be an application to enroll. All options will require student, parent and teacher contracts. Contracts will have more details about each option and will be available in early August. Of course, there will be more details to follow in weeks to come.

Are children allowed to be in the schools now? Just curious. Also, should we self-isolate after traveling to another state?
