What is amazing is the fact that some of these people are repeat offenders, multiple times for the same offenses yet they are listed under 1st offense. The plea bargaining in our court system is totally out of control, and the sentencing isn’t any better. There’s an old saying penned by Albert Einstein that I believe appropriately applies to our court system, and it goes something like “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.
Are they expecting these repeat offenders to all the sudden see the light and straighten up? I didn’t think so.
