MARTIN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT REOPENING MAY 18, 2020
The Martin County Health Department will be reopening on Monday, May 18, 2020 with limited services available. We will only be doing the following services, Immunizations for children, STD testing, TB skin tests, Staywell (GO 365 until June 30) and emergency vaccines for adults. WIC will still be done by phone by appointment only and online. The needle exchange will continue at the back entrance, but you need to call (606) 298-7752 before you come.
As is the directive from the KY State Health Department our doors will be locked and you will be expected to call (606) 298-7752 for an appointment before you can be seen. When you get to the health department for your scheduled visit, you will call and someone will meet you at the window at the side, where your temperature will be taken and you can sign the needed documents. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, you will not be seen. When you are ready to be seen, someone will come get you and the doors will be locked back. You must wear a mask the entire time during your visit, until you are let back outside. If you do not have a mask we will provide you with one. Only the patient will be seen during this time, for children it will be one adult to accompany the child. There will be no waiting in our lobby until further notice.
