In loving memory of Nettie Mae Frye, she passed peacefully with grace and dignity, much like the way she lived her life. She was an inspiration to many, she loved everybody. She was a loyal, faithful, honest woman with a great sense of humor and a smile to brighten even the darkest of days. She was a caregiver for those in need. She was the best grandmother anyone could ever hope for. She was a loving person and a beautiful soul.
Nettie Mae was born on August 31st 1923 to the late Jay Hammond and Nannie Hargis in Louisa Kentucky. She married the late Leslie Frye and stood by his side until she passed. She had 2 children, the late Leslie Garrett Frye and the late Millie Ruth Tatum. Nettie joined the angels in heaven on October 28th 2019, she was 96 year old.
She will be missed dearly by her surviving family of 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday November 9th, from 9am to 12pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa, Kentucky. She will be laid to rest on November 9th at 1pm next to her late husband in the Community Memorial Gardens in Wayne County, West Virginia.
Friends are welcome to join the family to celebrate the long life that Nettie lived.
