On October 19th, 2019 Lawrence County Masters Gardeners and Wellmans Hardware is Hosting ‘Ask a Master Gardeners Day’.
Come out to ask the Master Gardeners any questions you may have about landscaping, gardening, or how to prepare your garden for this coming winter.
We will also have our mobile sensory garden there which is a one of a kind and the only one in the area. It was built by the Lawrence County Carpentry Class, painted by Lawrence County Art class, and the plants were donated by Boyd County FFA, and will be housed this winter by Lawrence County FFA. It’s truly an amazing experience to see the sensory garden for all ages.
We will also be doing a plant and seed swap. As well as having some free information pamphlets from University of Kentucky.
