Charlotte A Rice, 79 of Conway, SC, passed away Sunday June 30, 2019 at home. She was born March 28, 1940 in Wevaco, WV to Charles Franklin and Mary Jane McBrayer Layne. She loved the Lord, her family, pets, flowers, reading and discussing politics. She worked as a nurse at the old General Hospital in Louisa and for Drs. Carter, Wright and McNabb.
She leaves behind her loving son Michael Kuryakin at home, two sisters Patricia (John) Wurts of Houston, Tx and Leona Kay (Conley) Swafford of Louisa, Ky. plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Myrtle Beach Funeral and Crematory have been entrusted to carry out her final wishes.
Charlotte you will be missed. Prayers for comfort to the family. I miss those days at Louisa General and all the good people we worked with.
