Louisa, Ky — Lawrence Co. Senior to be Halli Caudill was a terror on the softball field this past season and for that she was recently named Class AA First team All State to go along with Ashland Daily All Area and 58th District Player of the Year and was the only player from the 15th Region to play in the prestigious East/West game at the University of the Cumberlands.
Caudill hit .536 with 5 homers 3 from the right side and 2 from the left side but the most impressive stat of all was her 77 stolen bases in 2019 and 205 straight without being caught the last 3 seasons.
Halli also excelled on the track in 2019 as she capped it off with a State Runner Up in the 100 Meter Dash and was named All Area Track. Caudill also was the Region 7 200 yard dash Champion.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Halli has proved that she is a top level talent. She had one of the best statistical years of any kid I’ve have ever coached. 1st team all state is a great accomplishment but if you look at all her numbers for the year it will make you step back in amazement.”
“… She is a great example of what you can do if you work hard to improve your God given talent.”
As a retired umpire I appreciate seeing talent at work. The stats say it all. Halli has speed and talent. Congratulations to her and may her senior year be even better. I love to watch the Women’s College fast pitch and am amazed at the play. I was asked once to call for that, but sadly, I had to turn it down. Players like Halli are making names for themselves and their schools. Glad she’s a Bulldog!
