The Johnson County Sheriff Department, along with the Kentucky State Police, are looking for a Johnson County native who escaped from a facility in Louisville.
According to various reports, local police agencies are the on hunt for 23 year old Phillip Cody Parsons, who is from Staffordsville, which is in western Johnson County area.
Phillip Parsons escaped from a psychiatric facility in Louisville, where he was an inmate, and is reportedly believed to be headed back to Johnson County, particularly the Staffordsville area.
Law enforcement authorities say Parsons is approximately 6’2 and weighs approximately 210 pounds, has brown hair, grey eyes and multiple tattoos, including a teardrop under his left eye and a spiderweb on the right side of his neck. Parsons was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweater and black shoes.
Phillip Parsons has had numerous run in with law enforcement, with around a dozen arrests for felony and misdemeanor charges, both locally, and also in other KY. counties in other parts of the state in the past 3 and a 1\2 years. Parsons had been serving time as a state prisoner since November 2018, and then to a mental health facility in Louisville in March 2019.
