FORT GAY TOWN HALL PLAYS HOST TO CONGRESSWOMAN MILLER’S REP
FT. GAY, WVA. — On March 22, 2019, the Town of Fort Gay was honored to have a special meeting with a representative from Congresswoman Carol Miller’s office. Teri Booth, Director of Constituent Services met with Mayor Joetta Hatfield and City Council member Sheila Bowen to discuss important matters concerning the community.
According to Congresswoman Miller’s office, “…the meeting was to discuss how she can work to support community priorities of Fort Gay — including growing the economy, creating jobs, and developing infrastructure in the region.”
“It’s working together as a team on all levels to better our Community, County, and State! The Town of Fort Gay is honored to have this kind of support, and we are committed to making a difference for the better of everyone,” Mayor Hatfield said.
Additionally, as part of Congresswoman Miller’s monthly mobile office hours, representatives from the office met with members of the community to assist with any problems they are having with federal agencies.
Mayor Hatfield would like to thank Congresswoman Miller’s office for their continued support. She is excited about what the future holds for the Town of Fort Gay!
