Slated for the weekend after Labor Day each year, Septemberfest brings back the feeling of times past when the traveling carnivals came through and set up in small towns. This year’s Lawrence County Septemberfest is quickly approaching, on Friday, September 7th and Saturday, September 8th people will fill the streets to enjoy festival food, arts and crafts, and entertainment in this old-fashion street festival in downtown Louisa, Ky.
This year’s entertainment is laced with local and regional artist from the area, as well as headline Nashville recording artist William Michael Morgan. Morgan’s single “ I met a girl” has reached over 7 million views on youtube and the newest release “Vinyl” is on track to outpace that.

A last minute cancellation from the line up will be replaced by local artist Rachel Messer. Rachel is from Crum, WV and continues to push her music career forward.
Tyler Booth a new upcoming artist from Wolfe County, Ky will open for Morgan.
Friday night will kick off with our hometown favorite “Laid Back Country Picker” locally known as Chico Prince, followed by a special show featuring Laid Back and Sean
Whiting from Johnson County, Ky.
Sons of FM will finish the night, pumping out some of the best tunes from the 80’s.
