LOUISA, Ky. — On June 25, 2018 the Louisa Police Department responded to a complaint that a female subject had been robbed while she was visiting Lawrence Square Apartments.
Sgt. Steven Wilburn and Ptl. Hunter James responded assisted by Lawrence County Deputy Mason Keefer, after gathering information and statements officers executed a search warrant on apartment #124 where officers found several suspects of the alleged crime along with evidence of drug trafficking.
Also located during the search were the items reported stolen from the victim.
Three subjects were arrested;
Roger A. Vincent III age 20 of Crum WV was charged with Robbery 2nd, Assault 4th, Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Madison C. Evans age 20 of Fort Gay WV was charged with Robbery 2nd, Assault 4th, Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The third subject, Dylan A. Jarrells 24 of Dunlow WV was charged with Robbery 2nd, Assault 4th, Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. In addition officers found that Jarrells had an outstanding warrant in the State of West Virginia for Violation of Parole and Conditions due to a Robbery charge in that state.
Drugs found are believed to be methamphetamine and will be sent to KSP lab for testing.
All suspect were taken to Big Sandy Regional Jail, case will be presented to the Lawrence County Grand Jury.
