ARRESTS REMAIN AT STEADY NORMAL PACE IN LAWRENCE COUNTY AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES, AS INMATE NUMBERS BEING HOUSED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE HAVE SLOWLY DROPPING SINCE THEIR ALL TIME HIGH LABOR DAY OF 315, DOWN TO 275 THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 21, AND WAS AT 281 AT SUNRISE FRIDAY MORNING SEPTEMBER 22.
IN THE PAST SEVEN DAYS FROM 12:01 A.M. SEPTEMBER 15 THRU 11:59 P.M. SEPTEMBER 21; OUT OF THE AT LEAST 99 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE , 11 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. PLUS ANOTHER SIX LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES ( FOUR IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ONE IN BOYD COUNTY, AND ONE IN PIKE COUNTY) .
THAT IS COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS SEVEN DAY PERIOD FROM 12:01 A.M. SEPTEMBER 8 THRU 11:59 P.M. SEPTEMBER 14; OUT OF THE AT LEAST 102 INMATES BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE , 13 OF THEM WERE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. PLUS ANOTHER THREE LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS WERE ARRESTED IN JOHNSON COUNTY.
