Darrell Gene Scaggs passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024 at the age of 73 after enduring a long illness.

He was born March 26, 1951 in Adams, KY, the son of Percy and Iris Scaggs. He is survived by 3 daughters and 8 beautiful grandchildren.

Darrell was passionate about music, learning about history, and anything to do with motorcycles. He loved to “rock out” and play on his electric and acoustic guitars. He enjoyed reading and learning about American history. He was a spontaneous individual who loved to travel around the country to see important American landmarks. He loved to ride and work on motorcycles. These were some of his passions.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Scaggs and his family.
