James Robert “Jim” Hager Jr., 58, a retired senior engineer for Windstream, husband of Kathy McQuerry Hager, died Saturday, April 22, 2017.
He was born October 26, 1958 in Louisa, Kentucky, son of Betty Merritt Hager and the late James Robert Hager Sr. Jim was a graduate of Louisa High School and Ashland Community Technical College and was a member of Louisa United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, Jim is survived by a daughter, Sarah Kathryn Hager (Nick Morgan); stepson, Matt Ivory (Carly Stemmer); and a sister, Kathryn Hager.
Memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, April 26, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to God’s Pantry, 1685 Jaggie Fox Way, Lexington, KY 40511 or Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504.
