Geoff Marietta Takes the Helm as President of ARC’s Enterprise Division

Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) proudly announces the appointment of Geoff Marietta as president of its Enterprise Division. In his new role, Marietta will lead a dynamic network of small businesses integral to job training and career pathways for ARC’s clients.

“With a rich background in entrepreneurship, education, and community development, Geoff brings a wealth of experience to this leadership role,” said Tim Robinson, ARC’s Founder and CEO.

“I am very excited to join the ARC team and help lead their Enterprise Division,” Marietta added. “The innovative model that Tim has created at ARC not only leads people to recovery, but it also provides dignified career-worthy opportunities through a network of diverse small businesses. I look forward to helping ARC deepen its mission.”

Before joining ARC, Geoff served as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of the Cumberlands, pivotal in founding Invest 606 – Eastern Kentucky’s premier business accelerator and pitch contest. His commitment to the region’s economic development is further evident by his numerous business ventures, including Trillium Ventures, which focuses on investing in and restoring historic Main Street buildings.

A native of Hibbing, Minnesota on the Mesabi Iron Range, Geoff pursued his education at the University of Montana, studying forestry and graduating summa cum laude. His dedication to education led him to Teach For America’s Charter Corps on the Navajo Nation, where he ascended in leadership roles from teacher and department head to assistant principal and district-level coordinator. Subsequently, Marietta earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a doctorate from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

An accomplished author, Marietta has written three books, with his latest work Rural Education in America published by Harvard Ed Press. Committed to community service, he currently serves as a board member of ONE Harlan County, the Kentucky Commission on Small Business Innovation and Advocacy, and the National Institute of Hometown Security. He has previously chaired the boards of the Harlan County Industrial Development Authority and Harlan County Chamber of Commerce.

Marietta lives in Harlan County, Kentucky with his wife Sky and their sons Harlan and Perry.
