Tens of thousands of dollars worth and a major multiple pounds of drugs are off the streets after a major drug bust by law enforcement in a small town in the western area of Boyle County, Kentucky.

According to a press statement released Monday morning by Boyle County Sheriff Taylor Bottom; on Sunday evening, January, 28, deputies conducted a drug investigation on a residence in the city limits of Perryville, KY.

Through an extensive investigation, deputies obtained enough evidence for a search warrant. The deputies executed the search warrant on the residence.

Deputies located in the residence was approximately 7 pounds of methamphetamine, 5.5 pounds of marijuana, and 2 pounds of heroin; for a total of 14.5 pounds of narcotics. Deputies also seized over $1,900 in cash and a firearm.

Boyle County Sheriff Office drug police K9 Bruno was utilized in the investigation.

The estimated street value of the combined narcotics is approximately $90,000.

Boyle County deputies arrested a man at the residence, who was identified as Jacob Austiin Miller, 27, of Perryville, KY. Jacob Miller was charged with the following:
* TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
* AGGRAVATING TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (> OR = 100 GRAMS HEROIN),
* TRAFFICKING IN MARIJUANA ( > 5 LBS. OR MORE.) 1ST OFFENSE,
* DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Jacob Miller was transported to and lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center in Danville on January 28 at 11:46 P.M., with his bond set at $10,000 full cash only.
Jacob Miller posted his bond and was released from the BCDC jail on Tuesday, January 30, at 1:48 P.M.
Given the major amount of narcotics found in this case, it is highly likely that  Jacob Miller will in the not too far of his future be finding himself facing major federal drug charges, which could be even more severe with the discovery of the firearm involved.
