TRUSTEES APPROVE ‘PLA CONFERENCE 2024’…

LOUISA, KY. — The Lawrence County Public Library had its Regular Scheduled Monthly Meeting on Monday January 8, 2024 at 12PM at the LCPLKY, 102 W. Main Street, Louisa, Kentucky. LCPLKY Director Carlie Pelfrey was in attendance along with Board of Trustees including President Marc Lester, Treasurer Kim Burchett, Lennie Collins. Members James Allen Pauley Barker and Susie Chambers were absent.

The Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2023 Board Minutes and 2023 Financials.

The library has Trustee Offices to fill but there were not enough Trustees at the January Regular Meeting to vote, so this item was tabled until the February Meeting on Monday February 12, 2024 at 12PM.

The Trustees unanimously voted to approve the PLA Conference 2024 in Columbus, Ohio, April 3 – 5 2024. This vote will allow the full-time employees of the library to attend the seminar. Motion by Kim Burchett 2nd by Lennie Collins. None Opposed.
