LOONEY CHARGED WITH PROMOTING CONTRABAND INTO THE US PENITENTIARY IN MARTIN COUNTY

Martin County Grand Jury meets and issues indictment on January 4, 2024.  Irene Looney is being charged with promoting contraband in the first degree into the US Penitentiary in Martin County.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. David Brown

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before December 27, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. David Brown committed the offense of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by possessing a Winchester brand 12-gauge shotgun after having been previously convicted of a felony.

  2.  That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Brenten Allen Johnson

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before December 12, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Brenten Allen Johnson committed the offense of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance, Hydrocodone.

  2. Brenten Allen Johnson committed the offense of prescription not in the proper container by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Irene Looney 

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before September 9, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Irene Looney committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to traffic in that controlled substance, or by trafficking, distributing, and/or supplying more than 20 dosage units of Buprenorphine, a schedule III controlled substance to another, namely fifty nine dosage units of Suboxone.

  2. Irene Looney committed the offense of promoting contraband in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully introducing, obtaining, or possessing a schedule III controlled substance, into the US Penitentiary, namely fifty nine dosage units of Suboxone.

  3. Irene Looney committed the offense of possession/use of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a balloon apparatus used for internally distributing contraband or other substances.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Jonathan Mollett

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before May 25, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Jonathan Mollett committed the offense of receiving stolen property under $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a utility trailer stolen from the Louisa location of the Tractor Supply Company with an approximate value exceeding $2,500.

  2. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Joseph Stevens

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before August 6, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Joseph Stevens committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger to another, namely Austin Harless.

  2. Joseph Stevens committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger to another, namely Homer Harless.

  3. Joseph Stevens committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger to another, namely Austin Harless.

  4. Joseph Stevens committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger to another, namely Shawn Moore.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Andrea Caudill 

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before October 10, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Andrea Caudill acting alone or in complicity with Charles Arnold Mosley committed the offense of unlawful acts relating to acquiring metals by intentionally and without permission cut, mutilated, defaced or injured any fixtures or improvements owned and operated by AT&T for the purpose of obtaining any restricted metal, non ferrous metal, or ferrous metal.

  2. Andrea Caudill committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and lawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine.

  3. Andrea Caudill acting alone or in complicity with Arnold Mosley committed the offense of criminal trespassing in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in a residence on Rockcastle Road in Martin County, Ky.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Jeremy Jude 

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before December 16, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Jeremy Jude committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. John Henry Jude

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before November 21, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. John Henry Jude committed the offense of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by possessing a Charter Arams brand .38 caliber handgun after having been previously convicted of a felony.

  2. That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Commonwealth of Kentucky vs. Arnold Mosley

The Grand Jury charges: that on or before October 10, 2023, in Martin Co, Kentucky, and before the finding of the indictment herein, the above-named defendant:

  1. Arnold Mosley acting alone or in complicity with Andrea Caudill committed the offense of unlawful acts relating to acquiring metals by intentionally and without permission cut, mutilated, defaced or injured any fixtures or improvements owned and operated by AT&T for the purpose of obtaining any restricted metal, non ferrous metal, or ferrous metal.

  2. Arnold Mosley committed the offense of fleeing/evading in the second degree by disobeying trooper Ryan Hale with KSP who had reasonable suspicion that a crime had been committed.’

  3. Arnold Mosley committed the offense of resisting arrest by knowingly and unlawfully attempting to prevent Trooper Ryan Hale with KSP from effecting an arrest.

  4. Arnold Mosley  acting alone or in complicity with Andrea Caudill         committed the offense of criminal trespassing in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in a residence on Rockcastle Road in Martin County, Ky.
