June 17, 1958 — October 29, 2026
Teresa Ann Rice Pannell went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2026.
Born on June 17, 1958, she was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Herb, Janet Rice and nephew James Adam Sammons.
Teresa is survived by her husband John Franklin Pannell III; her children John (Jennifer) Pannell IV and Cindi (Larry) Salyer; grandchildren Kiersten Pannell, Kara Pannell, Maci Salyer, and future grandson in law Blake Hogan; sisters Vickie Sammons, Renee Shannon, and Beverly Workman; 3 brothers in law; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Teresa loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies and her church families from Cherryville Missionary Baptist and First Baptist Church of Louisa. She spent her time camping, quilting with the LC Homemakers, sewing, candle making, and was known for her cream candy.
She loved her family, her village of friends, yet most of all she loved the Lord. She walked her life serving Him and pointing others to Christ, starting in her home. She will be greatly missed, but we will all see her again.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price and Tim Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the family Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel
Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
II Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Pannell and her family.
