James Blackburn, 80, of Adams, KY passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at his son’s home.
James was born March 1, 1946 in Inez, KY to the late Clifford and Thelma (Bowens) Blackburn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Malena Lynn Blackburn and siblings Mary Elizabeth Whitaker and Sidney Lou Blackburn.
Survivors include his sons James (Sue) Blackburn and Joe (Denise) Blackburn; grandchildren Michael, Josh, Ashley, Abby, and Hannah; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings Steve Blackburn and Cynthia Preston.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Blackburn and his family.
