A maintenance worker has been identified after being hit by a truck and dying at a gas station along U.S. 23 in Louisa Monday morning.
The Louisa Police Department says Glenn Price, 79, of Louisa, died in the incident.
Louisa Police Chief Steven Wilburn said Price was checking their diesel containers due to the rain when a semi-truck, driven by Tristan Cordle, 43, of Louisa was pulling out after pumping gas and allegedly unknowingly hit the worker.
Police said Glenn Price was kneeling in front of the truck just before he was hit.
Glenn Price died on scene, Chief Wilburn said.
The incident is still under investigation.
