COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Proud of our team’s victory over an improved Powell County team. We didn’t play as clean as we would have liked, but there is no such thing as an ugly win. We have to clean up silly penalties to accomplish our team goals.”
“… Glad to have Cavin Williams back tonight. He was very explosive. Michael Artrip continues to improve and brings another dynamic to our offense.”
“… Powell County is a solid offensive football team. For our defense to hold them to a shutout is a great accomplishment.”
“… What a special night for football in Lawrence County. Youth Night is always one of our teams favorite nights of the year. We are proud of our past, living in the present, and excited about the future.”
“… The school record for wins is a result of our players and coaches both past and present. I am thankful and grateful for every player and coach who has been a part of our program over the last 11 years. The amount of respect I have for Coach Goldsmith for what he has done for our program makes this surreal.”
