The Louisa Rotary Club welcomed Teddy Newsome, above right, City of Louisa Code Enforcement Officer as guest speaker for its September 17, 2026 meeting. Newsome also recently received a promotion to Sergeant with the Louisa City Police Department. Newsome was joined by Louisa Chief of Police Steven Wilburn.
During his presentation, Newsome gave members an informative look at the role of Code Enforcement within the city. He explained the process for filing a complaint, what happens once a complaint is received, and the steps involved in addressing and enforcing city code violations.
His presentation gave Rotarians a better understanding of the code enforcement process and the work involved in addressing concerns throughout the City of Louisa.
Newsome was also joined by Louisa Chief of Police Steven Wilburn.
