According to the arrest citation report, on the early evening of Saturday, October 3, deputy Tyler Laney of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office responded to the 9000 block of North Highway 201 of Webbville, KY. area regarding a single-vehicle accident with reported injuries.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputy Tyler Laney rendered emergency aid to the driver, Larry Dunn, 38, of Lexington, KY. While rendering aid, deputy Tyler Laney observed and seized a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine on Larry Dunn’s person. Larry Dunn was transported by helicopter for medical attention due to his serious injuries.
A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded additional illicit substances believed to be Fentanyl, Heroin and Cocaine alongside paraphernalia items consistent with drug trafficking.
The vehicle’s passenger, a woman who was identified as Kimberly Lynn Fowler, 35, of Fort Gay West Virginia; was arrested at the scene for suspected involvement in drug trafficking; with the specific charges of:
*WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE;
*TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST OFFENSE FENTANYL; *POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED);
*. DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Kimberly Fowler was transported to, booked & lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville in Johnson County, where she remains incarcerated as of Wednesday afternoon, October 7.
Additional criminal charges are pending for Larry Dunn.
Ths criminal case remains under active investigation by deputy Tyler Laney of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office.
