CALIFORNIA WOMAN ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, KENTUCKY, ON CHARGES AFTER DANGEROUS INCIDENT ALONG U.S. 23 NEAR LOUISA

SHE TRAVELED FROM THE GOLDEN STATE TO THE BLUEGRASS STATE, AND LANDS HERSELF IN JAIL FOR BEHAVIOUR BORDERING ON SUICIDAL: LISA MARIE ROSS, 46, OF MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA.
A woman from 2000 miles away from the West Coast home city found herself in legal trouble by her own self-faulty doings over this past weekend after causing potentially very dangerous harm to herself and to passing motorists.
According to the arrest citation written by Lawrence County Sheriff deputy Wyatt Laney, Lisa Marie Ross, 46, of Monterey, California; was arrested and is facing three charges after the arrest citation stated that Lawrence County 911 received numerous calls about a woman walking in the roadway along U.S. 23 near Louisa.
According to the citation, on early Saturday afternoon, September 19, multiple callers to 911 reported that a woman, later identified as Lisa Marie Ross, was walking in the highway, yelling at motorists and striking or spitting on vehicles. LCSO deputy Wyatt reported finding Lisa Ross near the Valero gas station and stated that she continued entering the roadway despite being told not to.
Lisa Marie Ross was charged with:
• OBSTRUCTING A HIGHWAY;
• MENACING;
• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE.
Lisa Ross was transported to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville in Johnson County, KY., where she still remains incarcerated at the BSRDC as of Wednesday afternoon, September 23.
LCSO deputy Wyatt added in the arrest citation that the disorderly conduct charge followed additional yelling and profanity while Ross was being placed into a transport vehicle.
