AMERICAN LEGION-VFW TO HOST ‘MILITARY MARRIAGE’ SATURDAY
LOUISA, KY. — Post The Lawrence County American Legion Post 81 and VFW Post 6103 and holding a ‘Military Marriage’ for two of their members who met last year during a military function, American Legion Commander Frank Kincaid said today.
“I’ve been so busy putting this thing together, I’m late putting the word out but the public is invited to the wedding,” Kincaid said. Willard Nesselrotte and Alma Ball will be wed at 5:00 pm at the Lawrence County Extension Office by Methodist minister Kyle Peake. ‘Uncle Sam’ Garrett Hutchinson will walk Miss Ball down the aisle, Kincaid said.
After the wedding a fish fry in honor of all vets will be held at 6pm.
Kincaid reminded all veterans in the area that the American Legion meets the first Thursday of each month at 6pm at the Veterans section of the Lawrence County Courthouse. VFW meets the first Tuesday of each month also at 6pm.
