Prestonsburg, Ky. — Lawrence County Girls Golf finished Runner-Up in the Class 2A Section 8 tournament on Tuesday at StoneCrest Golf Course.

Abby Runyon qualified for the state tournament shooting a 86. Lauren Sammons with a 6th place finish with a 104. Aubrey Brady took 8th shooting a 113. And finally Lizzie Mynhier shoots a 131 in her first ever tournament!
The Girls will return to the course on Thursday with a home match versus Raceland at Eagle Ridge Golf Course at Yatesville Lake.

“…. The girls’ season has started off great as we came away with a runner-up finish at the 2A Sectional!”
