LC PUBLIC LIBRARY APPROVES STRATEGIC PLAN

The Lawrence County Public Library Board of Trustees had a Regular Scheduled Meeting on Monday April 13, 2026 at the LC Library, 102 W Main Street, Louisa, Kentucky 41230 at Noon. LC Public Library Director Deena Meade was in attendance along with Board of Trustees Lynn Perry, Lindsay Smith, JoJo Triplett, Andie Mattox and Connie Fairchild. The Library’s Lawyer Josh Puckett was absent.

STRATEGIC PLAN

The library has a Strategic Plan to further the library’s interest. The library has goals that are set for the next 3 years. They will be highlighting the next 3 years with a lasting and sustainable Plan. This Plan will show the Strengths and Weaknesses of the LC Public Library. Motion to Approve the Strategic Plan was unanimously approved with a Motion by JoJo Triplett and seconded by Lynn Perry.

APPROVE MARCH 2026 MEETING MINUTES

The March 2026 Meeting Minutes were unanimously approved with a Motion by Connie Fairchild and seconded by Lynn Perry.

APPROVE FEBRUARY 2026 FINANCIALS

The February Financials were unanimously approved with a Motion by Andie Mattox and seconded by Connie Fairchild.

DIRECTORS REPORT

The Directors Report was given by Director Deena Meade.

  2. Approve March 2026 Meeting Minutes – Motion by Connie Fairchild 2nd by Lynn Perry. None Opposed.
  3. Approve February 2026 Financials – Motion by Andie Mattox 2nd by Connie Fairchild. None Opposed.
  4. Directors Report – Given by Director Deena Meade.
  5. Strategic Plan – Motion by JoJo Triplett 2nd by Lynn Perry.
  6. Next Regular Meeting Monday, May 11, 2026 @ Noon
  7. Adjourn – Motion by Lynn Perry 2nd by JoJo Triplett.

The next Regular Scheduled Meeting will be held on Monday May 11, 2026 at the Lawrence County Public Library at Noon.
