Jeffrey Paul Slone, 66, of Louisa, Kentucky, passed away on March 18, 2026.

Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Jeffrey dedicated his life to serving others. He spent his career as a professional firefighter, answering the call with courage and selflessness. Outside of his service, he also worked in electrical trades and was always willing to lend his skills to help those around him.

Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He poured much of his time into coaching youth sports throughout his children’s lives, including football, baseball, and basketball. Those years on the field and court reflected his passion for mentorship, teamwork, and investing in others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; his children, Tyler Slone (Sarah), Allison Pinson (Jordan), and Andrew Slone; and his cherished grandchildren, Layton, Adrianna, Elayna, Tyson, and Paxton. He is also survived by his twin sister, Judy Geyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pickford and William Slone; his siblings, William Slone Jr., Lynne Parker, and Cathy Church; and his son, Joshua Slone.

Jeffrey was a man of deep faith whose life was defined by love, generosity, and compassion. He never met a stranger and was always the first to lend a hand. His legacy is one of unwavering love and a lifetime of service to others.

A private service will be held for close family.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Slone and his family.
