COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I thought we played well the last two games and in both contests they came out and did what they were supposed to do. Little bit of a slow start against Van but after we quit gambling on defense and got into the passing lanes we ended up getting some easy buckets and stretched our lead out. Tough break for Nate Bryant on the second trip down the floor. We have battled injuries all year and this is another one. Hopefully it’s not too serious.”

“… Another great effort from Brody Caudill, he has been so consistent all season for us. So quick and such a contributor at so many positions for us. Plays so hard and gives you everything he has each day out. He does stuff that doesn’t show up in the box score and gets rebounds that he shouldn’t get and that is all effort. Great attitude, isn’t scared to take it inside and go up against players much bigger than him.”

“ This will be our third meeting with St. Joe and just played them last week. And they shot lights out on there home floor and a lot of that was us not playing much defense. This is March and anything can happen. We have told these guys just go out and play hard, try to control them in transition, get out on the shooters and slow it down a little.”
