Middle L to R Blair Cantrell, Bella Prince, Hayden Boggs, Kelsey Fyffe, Ady Bartley

Top L to R Anna Mitchell, Sophie Wellman, Jenna VanHoose,

Kara Adkins, Laila Dolen, Piper Ward, Claire Ratcliffe, McKinley Burton

They were behind two amazing squads in Knox Co. Central and South Laurel who were both in the finals last year at nationals in this category.

This group of girls are in a new division this year called Medium Div II GameDay and are exceeding expectations that most take years to achieve. It’s an exciting style of cheer focusing on crowd participation in areas such as band chant, sideline, cheer, and fight song. They have done so well these last two competitions and each one were scoring higher.

The ladies next competition is December 13th at the state KHSAA cheer competition held at Clark County High School. They will compete against 22 other teams in the state. Competition in this category is exceptional and we’re making a name for us in this division!

After that they will head to Nationals which is held Jan 29th- Feb 1st in Orlando, Florida.

Bulldog Cheer Coach Melissa Blankenship

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I’m so proud of these girls for putting in the work and doing so well in this new category. It’s been an exciting season so far and I know they are only going to get better.”

Bulldog Cheer Coach Kiersten Pannell

COACH’S COMMENTS

“…Overall I’m very proud of how these girls are doing this season. We started this year in a new division and they have already exceeded our expectations! We are going to continue to get better and just overall try to make these girls have the best experience this year!”
