Louisa, Ky. — After a revenge victory last week over Boyd Co. the Dawgs turn their attention toward McCreary Central and the first round of the playoffs Friday night at Home.
Head Coach Alan Short has his Bulldogs primed for a deep playoff run.

Lawrence County finished the regular season with 9 wins for the first time since 2009 when they started the season 12-0.
The Dawgs had a balanced offense in the win 462 yards total with 253 on the ground and 230 through the air.
In the victory over the Lions last Friday. ‘The General’ Luke Fetherolf was efficient once again by going 6 of 8 passing for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns including a school record 99 yarder to Gray Derifield.
Fetherolf looks to make his last time in a Bulldog football uniform count.

Derifield caught three passes for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns, Kaden Johnson also caught three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Johnson was the leading rusher with 156 yards and 2 touchdowns, Cavin Williams had 36 yards, Fetherolf 36 yards and 1 TD,
Carlo Chicko 23 yards and 1 TD.
Placekicker Brayden Queen was 4 of 5 on extra point attempts including a 33 yarder after a penalty on the touchdown.
Braxton Davis picked off his team leading sixth pass in the win.
Andrew Ratcliff and Cameron Castle had 10 tackles each and Castle recovered a fumble, Chicko and Johnson had 8 tackles each.
In the regular season Senior Luke Fetherolf completed 96 passes on 126 attempts for 1776 yards, 22 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. ‘The General’ also rushed for 490 yards and 4 touchdowns. Gray Derifield was 1 of 1 passing for 29 and a touchdown.
The leading receiver was Junior Kaden with 28 catches for 587 yards and 5 touchdowns, Sophomore Gray Derifield caught 21 passes for 556 yards and 12 touchdowns, Junior Carlo Chicko had 21 receptions for 310 yards and 3 touchdowns, Junior Andrew Ratcliff caught 6 passes for 118 yards and a TD, Sophomore Cameron Castle 6 catches for 73 yards, Senior Braxton Davis 6 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown, Freshman Eddie Chicko 2 receptions for 34 yards and. TD, Junior Cavin Williams 4 catches for 13 yards, Sophomore Mitchell Frazier 1 for 8 yards and Sophomore Colton McDowell 2 for 8 yards.
Junior Cavin Williams was the leading rusher in the regular season despite missing two games with 607 yards, 8 touchdowns on 74 attempts, Kaden Johnson 562 yards, 9 touchdowns on 49 carries, Sophomore Chandler Preece 218 yards, 4 touchdowns on 42 attempts, Freshman Darren Brewer 153 yards on 20 attempts and 1 TD, Sophomore Mitchell Frazier 137 yards on 27 attempts and 1 TD, Junior Carlo Chicko 91 yards on 16 carries and 3 touchdowns, Sophomore Jameson Ison 2 carries for 27 yards, Junior Andrew Ratcliff 3 carries for 26 yards, Sophomore Brennan Blankenship 5 carries for 23 yards and a touchdown, Freshman Braylen Stumbo 7 carries for 23 yards, Sophomore Gray Derifield 3 carries for 14 yards and Freshman Devon Fluty 2 carries for 2 yards.
Senior Placekicker Brayden Queen made 35 extra point kicks in 43 attempts.
On defense the Dawgs forced 20 turnovers with 14 interceptions, 6 fumbles along with 10 QB sacks.
Braxton Davis was the leading interceptor with 6, Kaden Johnson and Andrew Ratcliffe had 3 each, Carlo Chicko and Gray Derifield had 1 each.
Cameron Castle led the team with 2 fumble recoveries. Braxton Davis, Carson Fraley, Cavins Williams and Chandler Preece had one each. Kaden Johnson forced 3 fumbles, Aiden Patton, Preece and Castle forced one each.
Carlo Chicko was the leading tackler with 115 and 3 quarterback sacks, Cameron Castle had 84 tackles, Chandler Preece had 82 tackles and 1 sack, Kaden Johnson 64 tackles and 1 sack, Senior Aiden Patton 54 tackles, Andrew Ratcliff 41 tackles and 1 sack, Junior Ty Brooks 29 tackles and 2 sacks, Brennan Blankenship and Hayden Thomas had 1 sack each.

McCreary Central will make the 3 hour and 26 minute drive to Louisa and comes in with a record of 4-6 overall and 1-3 in District 7.
The Raiders blew out Casey Co. last week 49-6 at home behind a rushing attack that went for 301 yards led by Treyvan Calhoun with 97 yards and a TD, Simeon Cordell with 96 yards and 3 touchdowns, Darias Ridener 66 yards and 2 touchdowns.
QB Peyton Higginbotham went 3 of 3 for 39 yards, Ridener caught 2 passes for 35 yards.
Freshman Placekicker Logan Strunk was 7 for 7 on extra points.
The winner of Friday’s contest will face Rockcastle County on November 14th after the Rockets beat Estill Co. 41-8 on Thursday night in Mount Vernon. If the Dawgs win the game will be in Louisa.
