COACH’S COMMENTS
“… 8th Grade Night isn’t just the end of middle school — it’s the beginning of everything we’re capable of becoming. It was such an honor being a small part of these young athletes journey in life. After the 8th festivities for the football and cheerleaders, we were able to honor some brave breast cancer survivors/fighters. Their fight is our fight! Big shout out to Matewan for making the trip on short notice due to a game cancellation. Without them we aren’t able to honor these 8th graders. Big night for the Vikings in a 36-6 win with rushing touchdowns from Jonathan Dingess, Jameson Evans and Carson Evans.”
“… Then Carson Evans adding two highlight reel throws to Karter Johnson and Eli Fitch. It was a complete team effort with all players getting in on the action on Wednesday night. Had an unfortunate injury to 8th grader Alayna Bailey to end her middle school career so prayers go out to her and her family. This is such an amazing group of kids so unselfish and wanting to see each other succeed. To God the glory and we are excited to see what the next few weeks bring our way.”
