
Lowell Haskell Wheeler, 93, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
Lowell was born September 4, 1932 in Blaine, KY to the late Ossie and Nora Parker Wheeler. Lowell proudly served his country in Korea in the US Army, earning many decorations, medals, and commendations including the Bronze Star. Lowell attended Cordell Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives Edie Wheeler and Shirley Wheeler; sister Opal Wells; and brothers William R. Wheeler, Marion J. Wheeler, and Alvin Wheeler. Survivors include his step-children Terry Lawrence, Carole Dawn (Dan) Fallon and Heather Lynn (Derek) Arnold; step-grandchildren Corey Lawrence, Kyla Lawrence, Alexa Russi, Andrew Berhorst, Cooper Arnold, and Duncan Arnold; step-great-grandchildren Sage Lawrence, Patrick Brouillette, Jace Russi, Stavi Russi, Jasper Berhorst, and Willow Berhorst; sisters Wilma Jean Doty and Irene Mabel Bond; brother Charles H. (Sherry) Wheeler; sister in law Shirley Wheeler; many nieces and nephews; and one special great niece Aubrey Doty.
Graveside services with full military honors will be conducted Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Castle Cemetery in Blaine with Brother Daniel Castle officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to VFW Post 6103, 204 Greenlawn, Louisa, KY 41230.
