Raleigh, NC. — The OnPoint Swish traveled south to the Tar Heel State this past weekend and split two games against Raleigh and Greensboro.
Former UK Star and WNBA player Makayla Epps led the Swish in scoring on their trip to North Carolina.

In a rematch of a game last week in Inez the Swish played a lot better but it wasn’t enough against the Aces who improved to 3-0 on the season.
Makayla Epps led the team with 19 points and 4 assists, JaVonna Layfield tallied 18 points and a team high 10 boards, Carla Booth added 13 points, Dasia Thornton finished with 12 points, Dena Jarrells hit 3 three pointers for her 9 points, Kennedi Stacy and E’moni Washington had 6 points each, Courtney Gillman-Fletcher knocked in a three pointer and Taylor Pearson chipped in with 2 points.
The Swish hit 14 of 37 three point attempts and went 6 of 11 from the charity stripe.
Former Magoffin Co. standout Kennedi Stacy had 12 points this past weekend for the Swish.
OnPoint 70 Greensboro 58 ( Sunday )
The Swish improve to 2-2 on the year with the win over the Kaos who fell to 1-2 on the season.
Makayla Epps poured in a team high 26 points including 3 three pointers, had 6 rebounds and 6 assists as well, JaVonna Layfield tallied 15 points and a team high 7 rebounds, Carla Booth added 12 points, Dasia Thornton netted 9 points, Kennedi Stacy had 6 points and Dena Jarrells chipped in with 4 points and 3 assists.
The Swish hit 7 of 21 three point attempts and went 17 of 21 from the free throw line.

The Swish will be back home on Saturday at Martin Co. High school to face the Gastonia Greyhounds ( 0-1 ) with tip-off set for 6:00.
